About Me

My name is the Reverend John Hex and I am a Monster. Through my music I create a tapestry of darkness, casting a spell through music that is covered in cobwebs and dust. As of late I seem to be involved more in conjuring up hypnotic instrumentals while sinking deeper into my nightmares and dreams. I have played deathrock for over 10 years now with my band John Hex's CreepShow, and now currently play guitar in a black/doom band called Vintage Flesh. I also have a side project called Daughters of the Devil. I suffer from Musical Misanthropy, as I normally do not want to share my music with people, but with reluctance I let my music be heard, although some pieces that I compose are too personal to share and will only be heard through my ears. My compositions reflect my passion for the unknown, the macabre, and the mysterious.
