Well.. okay..
It's Pretty much been Gloria and I the whole time... my partner in crime.
I was introduced to my first instrument in 1999 between my sophomore and junior year in college.. Neil Kennedy put a 4 string Fender P-Bass in my hands and I finally believed in love at first sound...
Through the travels with the bass I was able to meet other instruments of expression.. namely "Ethel"; my first 6 string acoustic guitar. On our travels I built my foundation for my style... which kinda molds itself when I think about it. Goo Goo Dolls, Third Eye Blind, BUSH, Dave Matthews Band, Dishwalla, 3 Doors Down all became my canvas.
Mark Smythe was my first tangible musical inspiration... We'd stay up late through the night choosing the perfect words and precise progressions to be our representative for our ideas of love, life, heartbreak and the confusion that life offers...
Those Late nights later became the corner stones of our first band. "Open"
Open came and went... life ensued and then through serendipitous elements Smilin' McGee was born...
