Dupe Despot

About Me

Dupe has jumped ship to Utah. Will he be heard from again? I should think so.On that note, I'm always looking for other music minded people to collaborate with.

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: You Are There....
Band Members: Gregory Rudowski, AKA: Gregyweggs, Weggs, Sunshine, Dickhead.
Influences: Dupe's influences tend to come from the other groups and individuals he works with. Myspace-documented collaborations to date can be found in Mr. Despot's top 12 and are as follows........ Regular Appearances with: "Laws Rockets" (bass, keys, vocals, programming, "The Stepmoms" (Bass and Occasional Drums) and "Like me. End you." (Bass, Keyboards, Rarely Drums, and Supplemental Noise)........Occasional Involvement with: "The Red Forest" (Attempted Bass and Applause), "Habitat" (Alcohol Supplier), and "A Machine Above our Hearts and Heads" (Constructive Criticism). If you happen to like entertaining, but ADHD affected sounds, check out the solo work of Dupe Despots Stepmoms and LM.EY. co-collaborator Mark Makowski. However, if Central Pennsylvania metal is more your style, check out the page of the now defunct Once Ashes Settle (At least half of the members of this group have made noises with at least one of the 'owski's on at least one occasion). And if all else fails, visit Hurra Torpedo's Page. Their percussion section made entirely of appliances will not disappoint.
Sounds Like: Whatever Mr. Despot wants to sound like...or perhaps more accurately, as close to what Mr. Despot wants to sound like as possible. Regardless, his "sound" can usually be linked to one or more bands he has listened to intensely for three weeks prior to the recording of a single track.
Record Label: Supernova Records
Type of Label: Indie

Six basses or one bass multiplied by six?

Well now, it's certainly been a while since I updated much of anything on this page.  But that has all changed (perhaps only a little). I finally got around to adding drums to the "Accoustic Atte...

Fall is upon us...

Well, I actually managed to make it back to IUP without much major drama or other crap.  As far as music goes, there has been very little progress.  I've recorded a few things on Alex's Kor...
