About Me

..
How I made my profile:
I used Dave & Jay's amazing myspace layout editor ...
My name is Christopher. I tell people that to see how many shorten it to Chris on their own - I don't really care either way. I'm a relaxed kind of person and I try not to stress out over things that I either can't do anything about or that won't matter too much a month from now. I just enjoy myself regardless of where I am or what's going on and try to help other people enjoy my company.
My close friends mean everything to me and I try my hardest to be there for them as much as they have been for me (and that's a lot). Along with family, they're the most important thing I have here, even if I don't see all of them all the time. I love all you guys and girls!
I'm a pretty secluded person; I find being around people for extended time to be physically and mentally exhausting and I have to come home and just relax by myself, or with someone I'm close enough to that I don't feel like I'm forcing myself to keep a conversation, just to 'recharge'. You know, the person in your life that you can be around for hours without saying a word yet it never feels awkward. Them. They're pretty great.
After trying to change it, I realized I'm just not a very social person and I basically prefer it that way. I enjoy my privacy and keep myself pretty entertained, but that's not to say I don't love going out with a few close friends... I just don't find the fun in huge parties or giant get togethers. Also, music is basically the greatest discovery in the world. I can't say that enough. It really is the best thing ever.
I'm all over the 'net. Just google Tigermave, you'll never know where I'll pop, or have popped up... some of them I wish I could take back.
I like the pride myself on being able to talk to anybody about anything; my AIM is TigermaveX - drop me a line and I might tug on it :)

My Interests

Video gaming, music (music is a huge part of my life and I strive to learn more about it everyday), journalism, photography, graphic design, cooking (or learning to), any form of art and expression really... getting into sociology and psychology lately. I consider myself pretty open-minded and have a lot of things I'm passionate about.

I'd like to meet:

People I already know, or once knew. I'm always open to make new friends though!

I just let it go in the background. I usually stick to the late night talk shows, wrestling, or other stuff that doesn't require much thought. I don't follow many primetime shows because you never know what will go the way of Firefly or Drive before it has a chance. DVDs for me. Lately however I've really fallen for The Office... I love it!

What Would Socrates Say?, The Illustrated Man

My Blog

Shenanigans

Hello there!Been awhile since I posted a blog, and if I remember correctly the last one was pretty heavy. I read back over my M&Ms vs Reese's battle and thought it was time for something fun again...

Gaming Journalism: Praise Our Shit or Youre Fired!

I'd like to make reviewing video games a full time profession. That's the long-term goal, at least, and hopefully it works out otherwise I'll probably end up in retail management forever. Not that I m...

Where the hell did that weekend come from?

That was horrible. After months of being static, doing a day-to-day routine with work, sleep, eat, game, etc., out of nowhere comes the weekend where I experienced at least four new feelings within 24...

Go Hug Your Family

My Dad told me today that his Mom isn't doing very well. I didn't go into specifics at the time, but he said his Sister told him it doesn't look like she has much more than a few months. I was disturb...

Midnight Not-So-Madness (UPDATE OMG)

I went to a local Midnight launch for Halo 3 the other day. I always love going to these things; I did it for Halo 2 and would've done it for the Xbox 360 launch had I been able to obtain one at the t...

Reese’s Pieces vs. M&M’s Peanut Butter

There can be only one. Two products placed side-by-side on store shelves. One known for its rich history as the chocolate candy king, the other for delictible peanut butter cups unlike anything else. ...

WWE... Why?

Alright there's maybe two people on my friends who will even know what I'm talking about, but I'm irritated. Maybe I should make one of those YouTube journal diaries about this like most people do.WWE...

Federer Federation!

So the US Open ended last week and I am sad. For those of you who don't know, I'm a big Tennis fan for a few years now. Interestingly enough it's all because of the video games based on it.I was thril...

Dredg Appreciation Post

I love music. I'd love to make music, particularly vocals, but I haven't managed to get around to that yet. Regardless, I have a complete appreciation for what it takes to create music - especially go...
