About Me

I love music and art. I live and breathe music and art. They are my life's purpose really, aside from my boys. Especially when you combine the two. I work in mixed media and I devote a lot of my time to band/song/music inspired pieces. I also love to take everyday things and make them much cooler by smashing them and painting bats or skulls on them. I like to make the world a more attractive place for your average metalhead.I am obsessed with all things belly dance. Especially Tribal and Gothic Fusion. I also love to scrapbook!
I don't like people that think everyone should think or live like they do and I really hate people that try to force their beliefs on others. I like free thinkers and revolutionists. I can agree to disagree on most subjects. I think most humans are wretched creatures and I wish they would stop breeding.
I also love showing the judgemental assholes this country is full of that you can be an awesome parent AND have tattoos. You can go to a metal show one night and Sesame Street Live the next and love every minute of both. It's OK to like bats & skulls AND Elmo & Cookie Monster. I love my babies AND loud crazy bands and it doesn't make me any less of a mother than anyone else. I bake my boys healthy vegan cookies and cut them into bones and tombstones, but they still taste like cookies.
I love being out and about and I love metal festivals. I especially love hotel parties while at metal festivals. There are few things in this world better than cold beer, loud music and good friends.
I wish more women had more self respect and more men weren't too busy trying to impress their friends to be nice. I wish everyone was more comfortable in their own skin. The REAL cool people are the ones that are themselves.

As I said; MUSIC and ART and BELLY DANCE. Also: ANIMALS, long haired-tattooed men with a musical instrument in their hands, world religions, tattoos: especially CORY CUDNEY and JAMES TUCK tattoos, piercings, yoga, meditation, travel, SNAKENET, bellydance, peanut butter, udon noodles, TIM BURTON, The Nightmare Before Christmas, DAVID LYNCH, Bettie Page, ASIA DeVINYL and Pin-Up art, poetry, DAX RIGGS, Human Rights, Animal Rights, VICTIM'S RIGHTS, the ocean (one day I will live in a castle by the sea),the downfall of western civilization, Eastern culture, HALLOWEEN(the holiday), forensic science, forensic psychology, HORROR....all things horror, especially horror action figures. I am a sucker for horror action figures and dolls. I LOVE TOYS!! Heavy metal and beer. And MIKE PATTON MAKES ME JIZZ. Living Dead Dolls &Toxic Toons. .. I LOVE ERIC PIGORS!!

I'd like to meet:

People that aren't assholes. Tim Burton, Tommy Chong, Crispin Glover and an astronaut. I would also be thrilled to my very death to scream through some box fans with Mike Patton.

All of my friends are TOPS. So here are some bands and stuff you should check out.

Music:

..METAL. Black, doom, death, thrash, hair, atmospheric, Bayou swamp sludge......the list goes on. If it is heavy metal and it is good, chances are I like it. Dax Riggs' voice gives me chill bumps.
I really love music. Lots of music. 80's New Wave, tons of classic rock, industrial, Gothic, Middle Eastern and Asian stuff, classical, I still have a special place in my heart for a few bands that were considered grunge. NOT Nirvana.Alice In Chains is still one of the best bands ever formed in the history of time and Layne and Jerry could harmonize like no one else. I still love Soundgarden too. Um, ANYTHING DAX RIGGS OR MIKE PATTON HAVE EVER TOUCHED..EVER and I can't get enough of Sebastian Bach. I even named one of my twins after him. I have also been obsessed with Glenn Danzig for 20 years but I couldn't get away with naming anyone Danzig. Believe me, I tried. Also METAL.....I'm sure there is more...

Movies:

..Oh there's lots. And lots. I could watch The Independent Film Channel, Turner Classic Movies or American Movie Classics all day long if I had a catheter, some rice crackers and a big jug of Decaf Arizona Green Tea.

Television:

..Dexter!!, Intervention is one of my favorite shows of all time.I can watch Six Feet Under over and over and over and never get tired of it. The Munsters reruns, Miami Ink, pretty much all forensic shows, boring documentaries...uhhhhhh I'm not sure what else. Whatever I can catch when I can catch it. Oh, I still freakin love The Smurfs.

Books:

..There isn't enough room and you don't really care. I love to read. A lot. And I mean a lot.

Heroes:

..My grandparents. My grandfather was one of THE GREATEST MEN EVER. And I mean of all time.
