Influences: First of all, I'd like to thank my parents who always encouraged my musical endeavors even when the walls rattled from the (way too many) amplifiers and speakers blaring from the basement during rehearsals. The British Invasion, Motown, Classical and most of the popular music that I heard growing up had and continue to have a profound effect on me. I still feel like that 14 year old boy who used to play along with records by Zeppelin, Steppenwolf and Jethro Tull. I've also been very influenced and inspired by the musicians that I've worked with and learned from over the years as well as many of Nashville's great songwriters.
