BEATS OF RAGE

About Me

Electro // Filth // Fidget // Bass // Shakedown

Wow. May. JUST WOW. That shit was awesome! Thankyou so much to everyone who came, and made it such a brilliant event! It was sold out, mega style. We know it was busy, but thank you so much for raving. Officially the best crowd Kanji Kinetic has played to, and Egyptrixx was blown away. You truly are one of the best crowds in the universe.I can't think of a way to top it. Oh wait. Yes, yes I can. How about we continue into the summer, by putting on some of the biggest acts Preston will ever see? Sounds good? Who's up for a CANADIAN TAKEOVER?!?!

TODDLA T (1965 Records / Radio 1)

The man from the Steel City, Toddla T is blowing up EVERYWHERE, and he's coming here! Playing the maddest electro/dancehall/ragga mash-up that he has become known for, Toddla T is one of the hottest acts on planet earth at this moment in time. His debut album 'Skanky Skanky' has just come out, and is chock-full of some of the most delightful tuneage to come out of the UK for a long time, and he's recently been chosen as one of the new line-up of Radio 1's 'in new DJs we trust', things are getting crazy for Mr T.
After working with the likes of Roots Manuva (Toddla produced a chunk of his last album), and Tynchy Strider, as well as the more electro side of the universe, with acts like Roisin Murphy and Hot Chip, Toddla is everywhere. His recent collaboration with Herve, 'Shake It', stormed it in clubs and all over the universe, as every DJ clambers to play his shit. His playful dancehall and sense of humour shines through his work, and those that saw him at The Warehouse Project wayyyy back in October will know how much of a dexpert the chap is. Toddla T is SERIOUS BIZNIZZ, and he's going to absolutely smash the place to smithereens.

Heads Up/ Team Yeah?!?!

Support for the delightful Mr T comes from some exquisite DJs. Team Yeah?! Run the notorious Club Yeah?! In Manchester, so Chairman WOW and Ronald Ray-Gun know just how to keep things bubbling nicely. Heads Up! is also a rather special clubnight in Leeds, and the boys are promising to drop some BANGERS.
As usual, the back room duties are ably handed by the Amnesty DJs, and The Filth Wizard and Technosexuals will be in the house, making sure some fire is happening from Preston's finest.
So, Toddla T eh? This is going to be SERIOUS. MannaMannaBadMan!
