About Me

I'm Kelley and I'm a junior at the wonderful Mississippi State University. I'm a animal and dairy science major with an equine (horse) emphasis. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with my degree but I'm thinking zoo keeper, starting a theraputic riding ranch or getting involved in horse breeding. I love animals and know that i want to work with them. My favorite classes are my hands-on horse classes. I'm a member of the horseman's association and Rick's rowdies. I have 2 dogs and 3 chinchillas. I hear the question "What's a chinchilla?" more than I can count. Don't worry I'll be happy to show you what they are. If you are interested in learning about having these great animals as pets let me know. I really want a horse. If i had my choice it would be a paint without too much white or a buckskin. I would love to learn to barrel race. I love going out and having fun. The Memphis zoo and the Tupelo buffalo park are my favorite places to go. I want to visit other zoos and animal parks around the country. I love being outside. I love to take pictures. I hate it when people ask for advice then don't even think about taking it. I'm not trying to be a know it all, just trying to help with what I've been taught.
