A: I'm here first and foremost to promote awareness of the Greek Peeps Message Board to anyone with an interest, in any aspect, of Greek Life. Secondly, I want to gain support for the Greek Peeps Message Board from members of various Greek Letter Organizations, most importantly your own, as differing and diverse viewpoints can create conversation.
Q: What Is The Advantage Of Greek Peeps Over Any Other Board?
A: Greek Peeps access is provided by an initial registration of your username and a short "Virtual Process" which will require that you respond to a few general questions. Once you have provided your responses you will be given Provisional Access to the General Areas of Greek Peeps. At that point in time your responses will be reviewed by the administrative staff and you will contacted with the measures need to verify your authenticity based on your responses as a Greek, Non-Greek or someone unaffiliated with any Greek Letter Organization. Your access will then be updated to reflect your affiliation, allowing you to gain greater access to Greek Peeps and Private Forums.
Q: What Is The Benefit Of Having A Private Forum?
A: On Greek Peeps we've set up Private Forums for our members who are:
Greek and interested in sharing dialouge with other Greeks and members of their own organization
Aspirants and interested in sharing dialouge with other Aspirants
Male and interested in sharing dialouge with other Men
Female and interested in sharing dialouge with other Women
Greeks, Aspirants, Males and Females gain access to private forums based on their responses provided during the "Virtual Process". The private forum allows for Greek Peeps Members to post specific questions & comments and have them read & addressed by a specific audience. This is a feature that currently isn't offered on MySpace at this time.
Q: How Long Does This Verification Process Take?
A: Well it depends on two things. Your responsiveness to Greek Peeps messages and the activity of the members of your organization if a verification process has been established. Currently the following NPHC organizations have private forums established and verification policies executed by their OWN MEMBERS in place:
