FUKM is a West Oakland-Bay Area based Punk band that will get your blood boiling, and help you get out all the rage that the work week, and life itself bottles up inside you!
Joe started out in a band called The Ugly Bastards. Then moved on to The American Terrorists, which became well known for crazy stage antics, and general disgust for the way the world turns.
After a short break from music, Joe and Julio (Basso Profundo, ex-World of Shit) started working together on a new project.
Meanwhile, Greg was whoring for a number of bands including, Fang, The Resistoleros, The Memphis Murder Men and some others too crappy to mention. Currently, Greg is playing guitar for Verbal Abuse (more whoring)
Joe and Greg had been talking about starting an all original project for a while and finally got together with Julio one afternoon and, POOF! FUKM was born (after a few name changes i.e., Jesus Tits, Smash & Grab).
They had to try out a few drummers. Pat, Craig (Six Billion Dead), finally recruiting Tim Stiletto (Fang, SOSA, and too many others to mention) to do the demo with us at Lennon Studios in S.F. with Jeff from STFU.
Unfortunately, Stiletto lives in Lake Tahoe, and the distance became a problem for practice and shows, and everyone agreed that they would need to find someone closer.
Enter Chris! The mighty thunder foot that drives Sad Boy Sinister. Chris's double kick sounds like a freight train on steroids. Chris recorded the two new tracks, "Dotted Line" & Fuck It", again at Lennon Studios, and again, with Jeff from STFU. (BTW We reeeally like working with Jeff!)
Unfortunately, once again we lost a drummer to geography and his other band. (The commute from San Jose is a BITCH! And besides, SBS has a new guitarist so they're
off and rolling again)
Enter Johnny Lazarus . We were going to call him "The Kid"(he's 24)
but he's just so damn good it didn't sound right.
Replacing Julio on bass was Mike "Cyco Loco", from Oppressed Logic.
Unfortunately, like most over-achieving, poser, rockstars (fags), he had too many obligations. (Mike, I hope I didn't take the joke too far...)
Enter Loren Motor! Singer of the best band you've never heard of; The New Earth Creeps and an ass-whopin' bass player.
Now the freight train is gonna roll all over you!! Welcome Loren and Johnny, to the FUKT up life of FUKM! When we take over the world you will come join us - or you will DIE Bitches!!
