I love to laugh,
I love to sing.
Even though it may sound like a painful ring.
I love to move,
I love adventure.
Whenever I get the chance
to release the pressure.
I love to sit
and relax my mind.
Recalling events
that had just gone by.
I love to care
for people I love.
My family and friends
that’s what life’s about.
I love the trees,
the evergreens.
That keep their color
even through the cold of winter.
I love music,
playing the guitar.
I’m not that good
but in my mind
I’m a star.
I love surrounding myself
with good things in life.
Not in a material sense,
more of the good inside.
I love to draw,
I’m no Monet.
But at least I got something
to help get me through a boring day.
I love nature,
I’m no fanatic.
But I love how peaceful it is
away from the city so frantic.
I love hugs
though it may not show.
From people I care for,
people I really know.
I love the night
especially the city lights.
Way back home it was pretty bright.
I love a good party
with friends all around me.
Bouncin’ to the music,
please don’t laugh at me.
I’m not a good dancer,
if you saw me you’ll see.
But the music seduces me,
I try not to be a nuisance catastrophe.
Moving on from that
what else can I state.
At this point
I don’t want to reiterate
All the things just mentioned.
Just know I’ve always got good intentions.
And there’s more to me than all of this.
More than you know.
And you may attempt to learn with bliss.
Layer by layer
I’ll show my dazzling colors.
Just take the time.
Don’t worry,
you’ll do just fine.
I’ll be right here.
Through sobriety and folly.
Through happiness and laughter.
Through sorrows and pain.
Whatever it is
I’ll still be the same.
I’ll never change
unless it’s for the better.
I'll never falter.
Never give in to peer pressure.
I’ve got my own heart.
I’ve got my own mind.
I’ll use it all the time.
That’s why I know I’ll be fine
In a world that makes people blind.
I see things for what they are.
I learn to accept things
and just look to the stars.
Let my worries pass.
Live life with a blast.
And know who I am.
I’m same as my past.
