Who knew that a guitar, a web cam, and an internet connection could lead to a career change?
Leesha had played music for years in a variety of venues but never considered it more than a hobby. But in 2007, on a whim, she started posting videos of her singing her original songs on YouTube. Within months, her videos were receiving thousands of hits, and fans were asking, “Where can I buy the CD?â€
Soon Leesha took her guitar out of the spare bedroom and into live gigs, quickly gaining local fans that were delighted to find her online videos. Again, they asked, “Where’s the CD?â€
Hence, “Penny in the Pocketâ€â€”Leesha’s debut release—was born. Featuring full studio versions of 12 original songs, as well as a bonus spoken track, the album is sure to delight old fans and win new ones as well.
