Contemporary Goose

It all began almost four years ago at Park View Middle School. Park View was having a talent show. Richard Spaziano had the idea to play Matisyahu's King Without a Crown. Only problem was Richard didn't have a band. Luckily a lot of his friends were musicians so the original Contemporary Goose was formed. Richard Spaziano was the lead singer, Nate Stiener was on lead guitar, Richard Farrands was on rhythm guitar, Mike Senay was on Drums, Jared Thibodeau was on the piano, and Gabe Corporan was on bass. The talent show was a good first attempt. After the show Gabe and Richard left for Toxic Complications which would soon become Sideshow. Richard, Nate, Mike, and Jared really liked playing music together so they kept the Goose alive. Richard decided to learn bass and Nate became the lead singer. The Goose played two more shows and then decided to take a break. After 6 months they came back as Thayer, but it was all too obvious that Contemporary Goose was a much more interesting name for a band. The Goose then recorded their two current singles "Forget The Words" and "Gone Away". Although not the best recordings they were still appreciated by fans like CINNABON (Our number 1 Fan). Then In the Spring of 2008 Jared decided that he had had enough and he wanted to leave the band. Jared was one of the founding members and is still one of our best friends. Currently Contemporary Goose is recording with Producer Richard Farrands who also plays keyboard when they play live shows. Contemporary Goose is also looking forward to playing any upcoming shows. The self-titled album will be out for your listening pleasure Christmas 2008.
