Shopping, eating, sleeping, reading the New York Times and chatting on AIM...not necessarily in that order.
Jude Law or Josh Hartnett. Oh wait, you mean outside of my daydreams? Hmm....Well I like smart people who aren't afraid to be dorks (and I mean that in the kindest way). Cuz I'm a dork. (Yes, I am...don't let the disguise fool ya. Dorks can be cool too!) I trip on my own two feet (up the stairs--that's real talent, no?), so I enjoy the company of people who are good at catching, or at least good at laughing WITH ME and not AT ME. Yeah, and it also would be cool to meet a mime, don't you think? If you want me to add you as a friend, at least send a real message along with the request, please. Seriously, show me that you know how to read and follow directions! And no, I won't add people who just wanna collect as many people possible in their friends box o_O That's just dumb. Thanks!
Bic Runga, Vienna Teng, India Arie, John Mayer, Alicia Keys, Jack Johnson, Dashboard Confessional, Dido, Norah Jones, Utada Hikaru, old school Canto-pop, whatever's on the radio or MTV2 (yay for digital cable!)....I adore Frou Frou right now.
foreign films, horror, anything starring Audrey Hepburn, anything directed by Zhang Yimou, Lilo and Stitch ("ohana means family"), Monsters Inc. (boo! kitty!). Don't tell me I'm too old for animated films...I mean, I enjoy sophisticated fare such as documentaries too. Case in point: I thought Hijacking Catastrophe was horrifyingly terrific, so check it out, yo.
Nip/Tuck, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy (I *heart* Jai), most anything on the Food Network, The Daily Show, Newlyweds (for the point-and-laugh factor) even though I tend to hate "reality" TV. Actually, I am doing good this year; no TV in my room. But I'm dying to check out the Fox TV series 24!!
"The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, "A Small Place" by Jamaica Kincaid, poetry by Billy Collins...Jonathan Kozol and Noam Chomsky are also brilliant.
Not sure...How about Jon Stewart and Mister Rogers?
