In April 2005 a Sao Paolo Brazil radio network gets a hold of Apside's EP and starts playing 1st single "Collide" on their alternative rock weekly show called Garagem. The band is unaware of the magnitude of the publics response until they get an email inviting them to Brazil to tour the country. Apside plays the Sao Paolo Campari Festival (aired live on MTV Brazil) along with punk heroes MC5, The Kills, CSS and other local acts then continues to 5 more cities to headline a tour with B-Driver.
APSIDE'S Single "Someday" was chosen to be played on The Fox Network show "Desire" September 29th 2006.
In July 2007, Apside made it to the Top 5 Bands for the Live 105 BFD Local Band Contest (a competition entered by hundreds of bands) to open for Interpol, Bloc Party, Social Distortion, Kaiser Chiefs and more. Consequently, Apside has started getting airplay on Live 105, Alice Radio and other Bay Area radio stations.
In December of '07 Apside was included in the Top 5 Finalists for the LIVE 105 Not So Silent Night band contest and has had consistent airplay in the last year on LIVE 105 thanks to the support of DJ Aaron Axelson.
Currently, Apside is working on their first full length album with Super Producer Sylvia Massy (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tool, System of a Down, Johnny Cash, REM, Prince and more). The Album is scheduled to be released mid '08.
In June of '08 Music Director Aaron Axelson of LIVE 105, Invited Apside to perform on the Local Soundcheck Stage at BFD 2008 (The Bay Area's Biggest Music Festival) with Headliners Cypress Hill, MGMT, Pennywise, Flogging Molly, Atreyu, Anti Flag, The Kooks, Moby and many more at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA. The next day, Apside went on to Headline the famous Haight Street Fair in San Francisco, CA.
