Marcus "Ghetto Baby"Edwards was born on February 2, 1984 n Tulsa Ok ah product of a large family but without a father figure it was left up 2 his mother 2 raise 7 children on her own though it was love within the family it was a rough childhood 4 marcus not having a father figure n his life marcus relied on guidness from his older brother Terrence"Tommy Gunz"Richardson who took the role of a father figure while his own was missing gunz taught marcus 2 b a go getter to get money at a early age by washing cars or betting on who was the fastest runner n the neighborhood at the age of 8 marcus and his family journed from tulsa 2 begin what was thought 2 b a better life n New Port News, Virgina, at this point and time things got ah little bit tougher as the family sarted 2 seperate even more some members didn't agree with the movement while others did this made marcus 2 grasp not only sports but ah love 4 music once again influnced by older brother tommy gunz ah love 4 rapping became his passion there he would recite rhymes from recording artist suc as Bone, NORTIOUS, BIG, Crucial Conflict, and so on 2 years later once again it was time 2 move but this time they would journey 2 jacksonville fla, at this time things really got hard 4 marcus the dealings wit moving again also wit being different because of a midwestern accent caused drama with neighborhood kids making marcus grow up real quick and realizing that his older siblings wouldn't always be there at the age of 14 marcus love 4 music would change 4ever as him and his family moved 2 the northside of jacksonville where there they met Jhonny"TL"Willams along with his 2 older brothers (David, Terrence) they formed a group called "Da Country Boyz"things changed drastically as they met a month later a inspring label owner Robert (A.B Da Balla) Heck from there he put them n the studio 4 the 1st time they would actually recite thier own lyrics on wax along wit label mate Hump Ful of Drama Records was born though it might seem like things were on the right path once again problems would come again group member and older brother tommy gunz would leave but this time he wouldn't b returning 4 a while that caused a problem 4 the group gunz was the oldest and the leader the group went astray and so did the relationship with A.B this caused 4 marcus 2 grow up real quick so he decided 2 give the streets ah try thier he would venture out on his own without the guideness of anyone he made choices that would effect him 4 life though still loving the music he would venture out 2 different studio finding ah real identity he no longer sounded like bone he developed a swagger and a confidence that no 1 would ever take away n 2004 marcus had the most influncial thing happen n his life his son marcus marquan edwards this would change him 4ever by this time hooking back up with A.B he would pull away from the streets 2 better his craft now with 1 of the hottest songs (Off Glass)2 hit the streets he's on a path that only GOD could stop!
