The Guys
The Random Crew
Going to the cinema, making gingertalia, various meals at the harvester with the OVERLY happy Scottish waitress, watching the sunset at Southern Down, drinking copious amounts of alcohol, raiding Tescos at bastard-o-clock in the morning. These activities could only be done with Aimee and Rhi, my random crew. :)
Liz
One of the very few people who I've stayed in touch with from school, Liz is one of the best memories of my time at West Mon. Whether she was prancing about in a stupid hat, or eating those vile garlic chicken wraps she made my time there amazing. Despite losing contact briefly, we managed to keep in touch all this time. The girl who showed me how to be myself, and more important how to take others. I love her. End of.
Rhian
One of the few people I knew in Gwent when I went to my first course Rhian welcomed me with open arms into the weird world of ogmore. Rhi helped me in my first year of uni in so many way I can't even count. She's amazing, and someone who I can tell anything to.
Aimee
The source of my humour and someone who is very special to me. Aimee was the one who told me to follow my dreams and encouraged me to get to where I am today. Without her I wouldn't have taken the jump that I did. Without her I'd still be stuck in a shitty lab doing experiments. She is my inspiration in music. Love you. Always.
Erin
The most talented girl I know, a wicked lass, amazing clarinettist and a top chunderer... hmmm... Erin and me go way back to crappy music centre, and after all this time she still manages to amaze me and make me smile. The girl is a legend.
Nich
Nich is a fully blown legend. She is the nicest girl in the world, and very genuine. She showed me how to be forward with people, which, though has had its repercussions, has helped me loads. My Tuscany tour beach buddy and one of my best mates other half, Nich is the shit.
Jon
Jon is a dude, my partner in video-gaming and bitching. A true testament to the belief that men are bitchier than women, I have spent many a drunken night slagging one thing off or the other. Nah, Jon's a ledge, a really nice guy, and one of me besties.
Carly H
Carly is awesome. Without Carly this world would be a place without appreciation of aviators, MC Hammer, 5p microphones, raving and other stupid things that I can only indulge when I'm with her. She is my cosmic balance, bringing more weirdness into the world. It's awesome.
Phil
Phil, though I met him quite late, is awesome. Though he likes his Guiness, I'm slowly pulling him around to snakebite and black. It's his fault I ended up becoming a mezeling, and I'm sure there's some other things I can blame him for, but overall he's a good bloke.
Vicki
Though Vicki has no photo you can find her here. She's the only person in the world who understands my Bree Van de Kamp obsession and my iPod love. We drink together, bitch together, dance together, sing together, mock together - everything. She's been there for me more than some people who should have been and for this I am very grateful.
The Flatmates
I spent a good part of 2005/2006 with these guys. What can I say - they've made my time at uni one of the best. Whether it's driving to Tesco and waving cucumbers at other road users, stealing road works equipment, dancing like fools, singing to Belinda Carlisle, playing Call of Duty 2, Sonic and other assorted games, long stoned discussions, long drunken discussions, debating whether to ask out girls, pretending to be KT Tunstall with and all manner of silly random student things, these are the guys I would choose time and time again to do it with. They've made my first year one of the best ever, and if I could do it all again (which I am... hmmm) I'd pick them hands down. Love you guys!
So yeah... I love those guys. ^_^
