Murmur was created in the summer of 2007 by myself, Matthias Vogels. Cory V. stepped up to play the drums for a few recordings for what was then only going to be a short EP. However, upon signing with Autopsy kitchen Records soon after, I decided to go ahead and complete a full-length album. John Hill and Shane Prediville joined the mess to add some basslines and some input. The recording for MTL was completed in Feb. 08' at Catatomic Studios in Appleton, WI. Things took a dramatic turn in March 08' when myself along with Shane and Charlie from Guzzlemug, combined forces to record what will eventually be Murmur's second Full-length Album. The Album was written in roughly one or two weeks, and for the most part recorded in one take, in one day! Largely improvisational and extremely experimental, this sophomore release will surely surprise and grab the attention of a wide array of music fans. "Mainlining the Lugubrious" should be out soon, I know I've been saying that for the last 7-8 months but it will be well worth the wait!
