Better Than Petrol Productions was officially formed in June 2009 when four digital filmmaking students needed a production name for their final film. Better Than Petrol was a name which was taken from one of the students who had used it before and all agreed to stick with the name.
The first official production done by Better Than Petrol is the short film called 'Foulness'. Its a post apocalyptic Britain trying to survive after a zombie attack. Based in Essex the film has finished the production stage and is now in post-production. It will be completed in late September 2009 and will be broadcasted over the internet.
