About Me

Jeremy has been immersed in music for quite some time now. While growing up in South Florida, he began playing when his sister brought home a bass guitar while he was still in elementary school. As a very successful classical bassist, she has served as a deep inspiration throughout his musical career. Jeremy later went on to play tuba in public school, while still playing bass with anyone that wanted to jam. He then went on to study music at Appalachian State in Boone, North Carolina. There he surrounded himself with the most talented musicians one could find and played in every ensemble he could fit in a day. Jeremy played with the ASU Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Combo, Wind Ensemble, Gospel Choir, Jazz Vocal Ensemble, and ASU Symphony. You could check him most nights at any of the nightclubs in Boone and surround areas. He has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with a number of musicians including Wycelf Gordon, The Marcus Roberts Trio, Ingrid Jensen, and Ed ShaughnessyCurrently Jeremy resides in beautiful Asheville, NC where he can be seen performing in a number of different situations. He plays with the up and coming Steel Pan virtuoso Jonathan Scales who is about to start work on his next album. You can also find him backing up the living legend Sidney Barnes. He also has the pleasure of playing with the amazing song writing of Uncle Mountain who have just released there debut CD, which is available for sale. He also can be heard with the very talented and awe inspiring jazz guitar guru Andy Page. You can also find him in a number of different jazz combos and groups around the area. Thanks for stopping by and listening.
