Cyphert Music, founded by Nathan Cyphert, is a dedicated independent music company based in Brooklyn, NY. The primary focus of the organization is the promotion, support, and utilization of good music to support good causes. Cyphert Music was created to give local independent music an opportunity to be heard (perhaps, more than locally).
Cyphert Music is founded with strong beliefs in Social Responsibility. The first project was a compilation entitled Music to Feed. Music to Feed features six independent artists from various backgrounds. The compilation was put together as a means of creating awareness about world hunger. Cyphert Music and the artists on the compilation donated 100% of their profits to Action Against Hunger. Cyphert Music is not a genre-specific company. Artists represented on our compilations are not necessarily on our roster. We welcome submissions from bands, groups, and solo artists in all genres. In addition, we enjoy working with non-profits and other organizations to produce benefit albums and concerts.
