Hello to all my peers,My name is George Katt. I've been working on an idea for a while to put together a handful of amazingly talented actors, writers, and filmmakers together for one or two days or nights per week for a Scene Study/Actor's Lab/Filmmakers Networking source starting up in Sep/Oct 2008.I have been able to acquire some great space. The reason I'm doing this is to be able to work with some great talent and to keep the wheels turning with some great work.If you are passionate, motivated, giving, and constantantly want to grow in this industry drop me a hello. I want to get some SOLID talent together and be able to put up some great work in an environment where we can mature as actors/artists and challenge ourselves.I will begin to put a strong roster together initially by invitation only but it will be open to anyone with heart. We can work on scenes from plays, auditions you may have, films, monologues you need to work on, original works/script readings by writers/filmmakers or anything else you've always wanted to tackle.The lab will be called "The Indies". It is because of my love for independent films and the independence in ourselves as actors and as human beings. It will be a "new voice" in the Los Angeles filmmaking industry. An 'underground' tinsel-town-playground. It will stand for the truth in what we choose to be as artists. It's not about the money... only what's needed to cover the space... just about the work.
