Hey. My name is Evan. My friends call me Tek, short for Tekron. That's a long story. I believe in living well, healthy, being positive, realistic, and following your heart.
I don't really go on here much, I have twice as many friends on facebook, all of whom I actually know, so, I stick to that. I don't really like to talk about myself, but I'll list a some things here. First off, I am extremely outgoing! I love meeting people and making friends. I love Volkswagens, and other cars too. 90% of my friends I have met through the Volkswagen community. I know a lot of people, I have a lot of friends.
I aspire to be as good a man as my father was. He was into Volkswagens too. He got out of the scene for a while, but I pulled him back in. His car was his baby until he passed away. I couldn't have asked for a better father. I talk like him, I act like him, I have a odd sense of humor like him, and I miss him.
I like tattoos, some good microbrewed beer and an occasional blunt. I enjoy releasing serotonin hehe, but, by a variety of activity, and in moderation. I like to do all the things that I love... but a little bit at a time. You do any one thing a lot, and it almost always won't be good for you. That's how addiction and dependency builds--not just with drugs, but with people, sex, anything. Moderation; a word I live by. However, critically, I still believe that following your heart and doing one thing is amazing. If I meet some one who is into something(anything) as much as I am with Volkswagen, I am immediately entertained. Example: a friend of mine is obsessed with rock climbing, and she has all rock climbing friends and works at a rock climbing gym, and I think that is some seriously cool shit. You do what you love! Don't settle for less! :D
I study psychology and sociology. History, music, drugs, etc. on my own accord(aside from school). I am pretty well educated, but, never did too well in school. I love knowledge, and knowledge through observation. I really like animals, kids, and just people in general.
I love music! Particularly DC punk/emo scene between '79 and '96 or so. That includes the Clash, the Misfits, Gray Matter, Bad Brains, the Germs, and towards the end you could even through some early Jimmy Eat World in there. I play a lot of instruments, and have some musical skill, but, I'd rather not be a struggling musician who ends up working at guitar center and lives with his mom. $_$
I live in Reading, am in Boston most days, go to school in Bedford for just this next semester, but am moving to Beverly this summer, with some friends... from my car club.
