It is our mission to bring yer planet joyous music and the finest examples of low livin' a body can stoop to. We of the Hillbilly culture are many and transcend all boundries of time and space. Our kin can be found in every life-form, species, sub-species, race, color, creed, shape, size, smell, sound, income level, intelligence, tax bracket, from everywhere in the known universe.
Anybody could be one of us with out even knowin' it. Scary I know, but take heart cuz ya'll ain't alone no more. We're here now ta party and help ya'll deal with it. The truth be told...

For over a decade, the Hillbillys From Space have been one of Chicago's favorite live acts, appearing at various nite clubs, local festivals and concert venues.
Taste of Chicago, Oak Lawn Family Days, Grant Park Country Music Festival, Goose Island Brew Fest, Alsip Fest, Ridgefest, Fitzgerald's, Lounge Ax, Shuba's, The Abbey, Gunther Murphy's, The Pontiac Cafe, Navy Pier...
are but a few places where the Hillbillys have landed.
Inciting musical mayhem with comic quips, puns and alien hand gestures, the Hillbillys never fail to entertain and amuse their audiences.
The Hillbillys, humbly, would never admit to having shared the stage with such great performers as:
Billy Joe Shaver, Steve Warner, Bill Kirchen, Georgia Satellites, BuckWheat Zydeco, The Beat Farmers, The Ex-Husbands, Heartsfield, 38 Special...
because they think it's pathetically tacky to drop names.
Not being ones to brag, but songs from ALL three Hillbillys From Space CDs, Callin' Nashville, Goodbye Cruel Worlds, Fortune Cookies have been played on WXRT, US99, WCCQ, and Q101 as well numerous college stations. Most recently, "Fortune Cookies" got voted 1 Country/Folk song on garageband.com, and "Alimony Row" has been featured on WXRT's Local Anesthetic Capsule.
The Hillbillys are in the final mixing stage on their latest CD. On May 17th, 2003, at the Oak Lawn Harley Birthday Celebration, several of the new songs were debuted at the official launch and subsequent shake down cruise of the newly christened "Open Liquor Tour".
