Books:

Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counsellors, and the most patient of teachers.

Heroes:

There are new words now that excuse everybody. Give me the good old days of heroes and villains; the people you can bravo or hiss. There was a truth to them that all the slick credulity of today cannot touch.

Quick update

Well, for the next couple weeks I'm back here in Lompoc. I should be getting my car back around the 21st or so. Woohoo! Ummm, damn, that's all I have at the moment. Sucky. Anyone want to trade lives?
