Salam Dostane AzizI am Akmal Hamdard, i am currently living in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
I was born in the beautiful city of Kabul. When I was almost 9 years old, me and my family went to Europe.I was very young when i got interested in Afghan music. First i listened to music all day long, then i gave it a shot. I started to learn playing Tabla(which is an afghan music instrument). I have never had an Ustad(music teacher), so on my own i played Tabla for almost 2 years. Meanwhile I was also busy with my study, so in my spare time, i had time for my hobby. After those 2 years, i started with the keyboard(and harmunia, which is also an afghan instrument).
Finally in the year of 2005 i got my first Harmunia..keyboard, i played and begun to sing sometimes at small partys. Further on, my family, relatives and other people begun to support me.
So every experience was like a lesson. I learned more and more, and now its almost 2 years away from where i begun. I am blessed to be an afghan singer, and luckely i like it too!! Hope you lovely people like my music.My cd is also coming soon,Yours Faithfully,Akmal Hamdard
