Love to travel and learn about different cultures and world history; have been to 16 countries:    Australia   Austria   Dominican Republic   England   Finland   France   Germany   Gibraltar   Ireland   Italy   Morocco   New Zealand   Portugal   Spain   Sweden   Switzerland I take a trip each year and usually get to two countries each trip - after all, if we can't take 2 weeks a year and go wherever we want then why are we working so hard?!?!?
Animals are another huge part of my life. I have 3 dogs: Shih Tzu, Beagle, and Boston Terrier.
      
A personal passion of mine includes playing the piano, violin, and cello - thought about pursuing a musical career but cringe at the thought of living out of a suitcase.
Also do amatuer painting - mostly abstract, animals, and landscapes. I can only paint when I am mad, weird. My favorite artist is Oskar Kokoschka.
 
   U2 - to thank them for all the wonderful music they have shared with the world. Gary Oldman - for being my favorite actor. Maire Brennan - for her artistic creativity. Would have loved to have met the 3 Stooges.

I prefer shows such as: Forensic Files, Cold Case Files, Sienfeld, King of the Hill, Family Guy, Biography, and old "I love Lucy" episodes. The 3 Stooges!! I own 163 episodes of the 3 Stooges (only missing 29 and have been searching for them forever!)
Hate reality shows - I live life - that's enough for me.

Huge classics fan here. Love Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (Sherlock Holmes), Agatha Christie, Fydor Tolystroy, Joseph Conrad, Charles Dickens, The Grimms Brothers, Dumas, Milton, and Chaucer . . . just to name a few. Also love reading "Lonely Planet" travel books; I am obsessed with maps.
Heroes are few in numbers in this highly complex world, but I still managed to find a few!
