About Me

Yekuku is a Drum and Bass Producer & DJ, who lives in North Greece, at the city of Thessaloniki. He was born in NYC and moved to Greece in an early age, where he was raised & educated.
He took his first steps in DJing back in '93, when the Jungle movement had just started out, mainly at warehouse raves. Amazed by the power, the complexity and the energy of this unique genre of music, he took the challenge of producing Ambient / Breakbeat / Jungle / Drum n Bass tracks in order to express his artistic needs. After many collaborations with local artists, he developed a personal style heavily influenced by 70's Funk & Jazz, Film Soundtracks, Techno and Old Skool Jungle.
He is now working as a sound designer in Radio & TV projects and DJing at private parties.
As a part of the underground D'n'B scene of Greece, he seeks establishment for this massive genre of music.
