Pescado Rabioso

About Me

After the breakup of Almendra, Edelmiro Molinari formed Color Humano, Emilio del Güercio & Rodolfo García formed Aquelarre, whilst Luis Alberto Spinetta recorded an album with various colaborators, then travelled to Europe. The label released it, calling the album "Almendra", without Spinetta..s approval. Back from Europe, he formed Pescado Rabioso, with Bocón Frascino (bass) and Black Amaya (drums, ex-Pappo..s Blues). In 1972, Pescado Rabioso..s first and classic album ("Desatormentándonos") was released, containig gems ranging from hard psycho tunes to beautiful ethereal songs. Carlos Cutaia guested on Hammond organ. Bocón left and another ex-Pappo..s Blues (and Color Humano), David Lebón, joined. They recorded and released a single (Post crucifixión/Despiértate nena) in 1972. In 1973 this second line-up, that included Cutaia, recorded the second (another classic) and double LP named "Pescado 2" . That same year Pescado Rabioso split and another single was released (Me gusta ese tajo). With various collaborators (Spinetta..s brother, Del Güercio, García), Spinetta recorded another album, in fact a solo album, under Pescado..s guise: "Artaud", probably the best south american rock album of all-time.Despiertate nena
