Bill’s Monkey

I am Bill's Monkey. We hang out at Roy's Diner and smoke a lot of dope. I am completely loyal to Bill. I can come and go as I please but enjoy working for Bill and spending time smoking weed and drinking with him on our down time. I have been with Bill since 1995 where I met him in Chicago at Soldier Field at the last Grateful Dead show. Tour had really worn me down. I had left some legal troubles on the road behind me and I was really down on my luck. I had no money, no car and no hope. Bill saw potential in me and picked me up and took me back to Amboy with him. He was there for me when no one else was. He believed in me when I had no hope. That meant a lot and I have been hanging out with him ever since. They just don't make men like Bill anymore. He has always reminded me of John Wayne or Bob Mitchium. Cut from stone but with a heart of gold.
