She was raised in a Christian family and began singing and performing with her family at a very young age. Her Father and Uncles (The Muncy Brothers) had been performing gospel music in the area for many years. Upon graduating high school she moved to Hendersonville Tennessee and lived with her grandmother and uncle while working at a local restaurant. She returned to Kermit a few years later and married Donny in July 2002. She accepted Jesus as her personal Savior, Lord, Master and Friend on January 30, 2005. She has been prophesying, singing, performing and has been a licensed minister for the gospel of Jesus for over two years. Lisa says "Being saved and a child of God is a wonderful feeling. I find it a great joy to serve Jesus daily. It amazes me that our God loved each of us so much he sent his son Jesus into the world to become the perfect sacrifice that would reunite us with him. Glory to God in the highest. Lisa has many interest. Among them is baseball. Her favorite all time baseball player is Roger Maris. She personally feels that he was disrespected by most of the media in 1961 and has been "black balled" from election to the National Baseball Hall of Fame due to their disrespect. She feels that a great injustice has been and is continuing to be done by not having Roger Mris in baseball's "Hallowed Shrine". She also feels that there are many others out there who deserve this same enshrinement. Ron Santo, Jim Rice, Bert Blyleven, Jack Morris, Goose Gossage, Mark McGwire and Pete Rose just to name a few.
