The REAL YawHowdyboy!

You know I always wanted to be a Political Science Major and go to Law School at UALR. I hate to admit but I did have a scholarship for school. I don't know I always thought I would be a politician. The problem was I never went to class and I was to hung over to show up for my finals. Then when I was twenty years old I had a reality check. Maybe school just isn't for me. Then God woke me up. I mean I knew about God and everything. I grew up in church and had a few experiences with His precense, but this time was different. This time it was about His plan for me, so I battled with that for about seven months. I did the church thing, but I have to admit I was like "God, dude, why me?" So in 2001, I ran like HELL. I lived like it to. Its a funny thing when you have to get drunk or pop a pill in order to go to sleep to keep God from talking to you at night when you lay that head on the pillow. I ran so hard from God that I even joined the military. Me in the Airforce, you know I was smoking something. I lied thats why they let me join. Anyways I ran like hell for seven or eight months, and one day I was like "God, Dude, this sucks." I mean I went through some awful things that I wouldn't want anyone to go through. By the way, the military thing didn't work our. I didn't show up when it was time for me to go to bootcamp. I was probably to hung over, or I couldn't get over the fact that I would have to bath with grown men in the shower. After I finally got over myself and decided to surrender to God's plan for my life, a few months later I met my wife. We had an awesome courtship and we married nine months later. Dec. 7, 2002 to be exact,and I love that girl more and more everyday. After my wife and I were married we took a youth paster position in Fort Smith. There we seen God take a hand full of kids, turn it into a youth group of 60 teenagers, and seen some major life changing experiences.Then in Nov. of 2004, we added an extention to our all ready perfect family. Her name is Hannah. I thought marriage changed my life. Being a dad is so cool. Now I'm like "God, dude, what's up? Now I want to go back to school, but not college. My wife and I are planning to move to Tulsa to attend Rhema Bible Training Center. We plan to move in 2009. We are extremely excited about everything God is doing and what He has done. I could tell you miracle after miracle of what God has done for us. I could tell you of healing, financial, and relational miracles that I've experienced in my life. God wants to do the same for you.
