“ A máquina de desgraças denominada Chronic Infect nasceu como uma genuína manifestação de inconformismo e indignação suscitados por toda a onda modista, tendenciosa e mercenária a que o Death Metal vem sendo submetido desde o final da década passada; desde os clones da ‘Krisiun mania’, passando pelos seguidores da ‘nova onda’ americana e culminando na tendência ‘retro’ do momento e que se convencionou denominar ‘old school’.Contudo, os integrantes da Chronic Infect não almejam somente fazer desta um manifesto de repúdio às tendências e modismos que corrompem a real essência do Metal da Morte, mas, sobretudo expressar a Real forma aterradora, maléfica, mórbida, suja e crua de se executar esta culto ao Macabro, sem interferência de sonoridades/influências ‘modernas’ e/ou tecnicismos desnecessários, apenas o puro Negro Sentimento e o Real desejo de manter suas Raízes Primitivas e Primordiais intactas, preservadas e inalteradas, fazendo da Chronic Infect um verdadeiro veículo de Defesa do Antigo Espírito Banger que conduzia o que um dia foi um Honrado Movimento e que temos por intenção e objetivo resgatá-lo.O pior pesadelo dos posers está desperto e seu primeiro Ataque Infame foi liberado sob o título ‘FesterFeast’.”_______________________________________ _______________________ English Version :The Disgrace machine denominated Chronic Infect was vomited from hell’s entrails in mid of 2006 E.V. and its emergence happened as a genuine non conformity and indignation manifestation raised by all this fashion, trendy and mercenary waves that Death Metal has been submitted since the end of the past decade, either by the “Krisiun mania” clones or by the followers of the “new American wave” and culminating in the “retro” trend of the moment and which for convenience was named “old school”. However, Chronic Infect’s members don’t long for only to do of this a repudiation manifest to the trendy waves and fashions that corrupts the true Metal of Death essence, but, mostly to express the real appalling, malefic, morbid, unclean and raw form to perform this Cult to the macabre, without “modern” sonorities/influences interference and/or unnecessary technicisms, only the pure Dark feeling and the real desire to maintain its Primitive and Impure roots intact, preserved and unalterable, making the Chronic Infect a True warlike vehicle in defense of the old Banger Spirit that led what one day was a honorable scene that we’ve by purpose and objective to bring it back. The worst poser’s nightmare is awaked and its first infamous attack was released at 08/2007 under the title “FesterFeast”.
