A Momentary Lapse Of Reason Is Pink Floyd's 13th Album,And The First Album Without Roger Waters.Roger Had Declared That Pink Floyd Had Ended In 1985,But David Gilmour And Nick Mason Were Determined To Keep On Going. A Bitter Dispute Ensued With Roger,But Eventually They Settled Out Of Court For The Legal Right To Use The Name Pink Floyd. In Return Rogergained Exclusive Rights To Some Pink Floyd Material,Including The Original Flying Pig,Almost All Of The Wall,And All of The Final Cut.At This Time Richard Wright Had rejoined The Band as a salaried musician. In 1986 The Recording Sessions Began. This Album Can Be Considered David Gilmour's Third Solo Album Due To The Minimalized Contributions Of Mason And Wright.
