About Me

A day spent without the sight or sound of beauty, the contemplation of mystery, or the search of truth or perfection is a poverty-stricken day; and a succession of such days is fatal to human life.- Lewis Mumford ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "HUG FEAST"I am a proud mother of 4 exuberant children. I live to love, laugh, learn, teach, dance, play and serve. "I am a natural born nurturer". I take great pleasure of people’s joy. Helping to sooth someone's pain, improve and heal their health according to each individual constitution is my goal. My mission is to bring laughter, health and balance back to someone’s life, harmony with the natural world, teach nutrition and lifestyle, healthy conscious living and synchronize the microcosm(individual system) with the macrocosm(earth system)and make this human body experience a worth while one. I am here for myself, my family and for anyone that cross my path open to receive nourishment and care from a mother's love~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"If you can figure out the process of staying and keeping balance and harmony in the inner world than the chances of staying balanced and in harmony with the outer world should be easier and vice-versa. Our bodies system are the microcosms of the entire earth system, so if you can be aware of the process of disharmony and disease of the microcosm than we can begin the process of healing and bringing harmony back to our mother earth or the macrocosm system".~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~Background: I started formal movement training at the age of 6 with ballet, jazz and modern dancing,in recent years my passion became middle eastern dance, salsa and most recently I've been more interested in the free form moviment,spontaneous dancing allowing my body to serve as an instrument and going with the flow of the music. In school I excelled in competitive sports and played semi-professional basketball and volleyball in the Brazilian Sports Team. My sports career helped me to launch a new career in modeling where I became an international model for 8 years. Upon moving to the United States in 1999 I discovered Yoga and shortly after enrolled in a number of Yoga and Ayuverda intensives, meditation and teacher training courses with, Srivatsa Ramaswami ( Vinyasa Krama Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation Technique), Christopher Chappell( Bhagavaghitta, Upanishad), John Casey( Patanjali’s sutras), John Huges (Kashimir Shaivism), Paul Grilley ( Yoga Anatomy), Mark Whitwell (Heart of Yoga), Michael Stone( Yoga Psychology), John Holmstrom(Ayuverdic Medicine) and many others along the way. A two year study on Yoga Philosophy and Yoga Teacher’s trainning Certification course at Loyola Marymount University and most recently I completed advanced studies in Yoga and Yoga Therapy certification with Larry Payne, Ph.D., founding President of the International Association of Yoga Therapists and the Samata International Yoga and Health Institute. I am trilingual, fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ People with: Values for Survival: “If we are to create balanced human beings, capable of entering into world-wide co-operation with all other men of good will--and that is the supreme task of our generation, and the foundation of all its other potential achievements--we must give as much weight to the arousal of the emotions and to the expression of moral and esthetic values as we now give to science, to invention, to practical organization. One without the other is impotent. And values do not come ready-made: they are achieved by a resolute attempt to square the facts of one's own experience with the historic patterns formed in the past by those who devoted their whole lives to achieving and expressing values. If we are to express the love in our own hearts, we must also understand what love meant to Socrates and Saint Francis, to Dante and Shakespeare, to Emily Dickinson and Christina Rossetti, to the explorer Shackleton and to the intrepid physicians who deliberately exposed themselves to yellow fever. These historic manifestations of love are not recorded in the day's newspaper or the current radio program: they are hidden to people who possess only fashionable minds. Virtue is not a chemical product, as Taine once described it: it is a historic product, like language and literature; and this means that if we cease to care about it, cease to cultivate it, cease to transmit its funded values, a large part of it will become meaningless, like a dead language to which we have lost the key. That, I submit, is what has happened in our own lifetime.” -Lewis Mumford
