~Background and Beginning~ On a planet, million of galaxies away, a war was raging on the planet of Hyda VIII. The two kingdoms were at war: the Vandercheks and the Rozenkratz. The war had been raging for over three hundred years, and didn't seem like it would end anytime soon. Fearing for his childrens lives, King Roxas Vanderchek IV sent his children, Reever Sietia Vanderchek VII and Ryuu Octavia Vanderchek VIII to the planet Earth, far from the war, far from assassins, and far from their home galaxey, hoping for them to start new lives on the new planet, and be happy. ~Split Personalities~ Ryuu has always been cold-hearted to anyone and everyone. He shows little respect, unless it is to his father, mother, or brother. If you're lucky, he'll take a liking to you, and you'll become one of his few friends. He enjoys anything where he can gamble (even his life), with his main favorite being poker. He likes quiet rooms when he is alone, and can mainly be located in a dark room playing videogames or sketching random landscapes from Hyda VIII. He keeps his personal life to himself, and is short-tempered most of the time. He hates being treated special or like a prince, so that fact about him stays a secret from everyone but his loved ones.

STARTER:Ryuu sat at the table with the older men, lightly holding a mug in one hand and the cards in another. He held four aces, an unbeatable team. As the other men placed their cards down, smoking their cigars, he watched curiously. Once they were done, he placed his cards down, and thier expressions when from smug to shock. Stashing the money in his backpack, he glanced at the clock. Seeing it was late, he waved his hand at the others, then walked out into the busy street. His chocolate colored tais swished back and fourth, happy to be out of the cramped seat. Once his eyes adjusted to the light, he began his walk home through the dark night.
