About Me

After attending the college of Blue Note & Impulse Records, I studied polyrhythmic concepts in New York with Barry Altschul, the drummer in Chick Corea's Circle. Lived in Hollywood CA, Oklahoma City, Atlanta, Miami, Minneapolis, and played in house bands for 5 years on cruise ships. My CD "Long Ago" featuring bassist Anthony Cox & pianist Bill Carrothers, has garnered luminous reviews in the national press, but not a dime for car repair. I've played on 7 European tours and still get stuck in traffic going across town. Shared a few choruses with Barney Kessel, Roseanna Vitro, Manfredo Fest, Sheila Jordan, Terry Gibbs, Gary Foster, Kim Richmond, Vinny Golia, JoAnne Brackeen, Ernie Watts, Wayne Johnson, Karrin Allyson, Kenny Werner, Howard Levy, Toots Thielmans, Avashai Cohen, Giacomo Aula, and Sarah Vaughan.
