Electrified end of the 70s by Aerosmith’s ‘Kings and Queens’, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Uriah Heep, later on the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Lemmy Kilmister screams the blues. Guitar thunder. Rebellion and pride. The first tattoos, long hair and black leather. Robert Wilson and Carlos Castaneda. Departure to new horizons.First band 1980 to 1983 SWEET REVENGE, hard rock with German lyrics, ahead of the times. Inspirations by travels to Northern Ireland, the rough Scottish Highlands and the dark hills of the Portuguese west coast. Atlantic browl, wilderness, solitude, a shiny dust particle in the still of the universe. Pure energy.From 1987 on CERIDWEN (www.myspace.com/ceridwenrock), Celtic hard rock, a hell of a band, always on the road, hundreds of gigs in- and outside Germany, among others with Birth Control, Magnum and H-Blockx, production of the CD ‘Thunderride’ (1994), several TV appearances.After that from 1995 on CHEEKBONE with lead singer Ingo Pohlmann, alternative hard rock full of energy and passion, an unbelievable intensive time, again always on the road, gigs among others with Guano Apes and other wonderful brothers and sisters in spirit, production of the CDs ‘Scream under a dead skin’ (1997) and ‘First small muscle’ (1998), same time lead singer of the Black Sabbath cover band LORDS of DARKNESS. Fascinating play with fire.From 1999 on experimental hard pop with BITCH BETTY.2000 to 2004 together with Randy Meinhard (Ex-Pestilence, Sacrosanct) guitarist at NEON DREAM, gothic rock, middle of 2003 release of the album ‘Anodyne’ (Equinoxe-Records), support a. m. o. for Christian Death, Crüxshadows, Zeraphine, The Last Dance and Xandria.Since middle of 2004 on the guitar with SHINE (www.myspace.com/shinehardrock), back to my roots and again on the hottest and ultimate ride of the dragon.Rock'n'Roll is the rhythm of my blood, my black Gibson Les Paul my greatest passion.
