We are a good time!
We like records, and we put one out. Here's what some people have said about it:
It seems I've discovered my favorite new band of 2007 ... a must-have record for anyone who loves powerpop ... a la Josie Cotton circa Convertible Music ... Both songs are fantastic
- Now Wave
There's that something going on here that would've had Rodney on the Roq playing this on the radio for weeks on end back in his early 80's heyday
- Smashin' Transistors
This is pop music at its finest ... pure of heart, getting stuck in your brain ... a refreshing alternative to the crowded and muddled music of the current American underground ... A definite must
- Seven Ten Twelve
you can't deny that this one is a hit ... Nikki Corvette-y ... All you neo-power-popsters out there should dig this
- Terminal Boredom
either tune here conceivably being a minor hit back when power pop wasn't retro
- Razorcake
sounding a LOT like vintage Blondie ... This is the kind of song that you find yourself singing on the way to the train ... Awesomely catchy
- Lucid Culture
you're attracted to the sheer fun of this power punk pop but there's something dangerous there of course, lurking under the surface
- Seven Inches
This is absolutely pure power pop goodness, complete with sticky sweet female vocals. This is what heaven is like, I am sure of it.
- Maximum Rock N Roll
We had a lot of fun playing the Slabtown Bender festival in Portland in February, and we're totally excited to play the Wild Weekend powerpop festival in Austin this August!
We also like KUSF, where our record was in the Top 30 most played!
Stores can get our record from Revolver distribution .
If you'd like to buy our record, Goner Records and Bomp! mailorder are carrying it in the U.S. KenRock 's got them in Sweden, and Dream On Records has them in Japan. Or, just click the button below, and we'll send you one!
