At the age of 18 he moves to Amsterdam and starts working on his DJ carriere to make his sound be heard across the country. In 2002 he starts spending more and more time on producing. This is paused for a year when he leaves Holland for a year of travelling around Australia and Asia. He continues deejaying overseas and plays at several clubs and parties in Australia and even manages to play at the famous Full Moon Party in Koh Pagnan, Thailand. During his travels his sound turns more minimal and can be described as bold, abstract, minimal house and -techno.
When Liron returns from his inspirational trip, he totally commits himself to producing. For this he comes up with the alias Kabale und Liebe, after a German literature book of Friedrich Schiller.
Kabale und Liebe’s live-act is a very dynamic, dancefloor focused mixture of abstract minimal techno beats and housey rythmes added with playful bleeps and deep basslines.
His DJ-sets are a mixture bold house music and sexy techno, connected by the warm and driving red line throughout his sets.
Lauhaus started out late nineties mixing various styles and developed his sound into an electro-infused blend of minimal house and techno using vinyl and cds. To keep surprising his audience Lauhaus always plays the hottest new releases and own productions. Everysince a young age Lauhaus has been busy producing. Currently he spends a lot of time in the studio together with David Labeij, working on their Polder project. This resulted in their first release. It wil be out in april 2006 on the Amsterdam label Intacto records, (www.intactorecords.com).
Next to his dj-ing, Lauhaus is also the co-founder of the Traffic and Mono concepts. Traffic is a full on techno event, where artists like Surgeon, Ben Sims and Heiko Laux played. Traffic has been a succes since the start five years ago, with an inovating view on techno music. Next to its home-club the Melkweg, Traffic has been on tour at different locations throughout Holland like Doornroosje and Simplon. The Mono concept pays attention to the more minimal side of techno and house, with artists like Wighnomy Brothers, Karotte and Guido Schneider. After numerous clubs like Mazzo, 020 and club More, Mono found a new home in club 11. And after last years succes, Mono will be hosting a stage again at the Free Your Mind Festival.
Lauhauss popularity has grown over the years, which resulted in regular gigs al over the country at parties like Awakenings, Voltt, Innercity, Free Your Mind festival, LINK!, Noorderslag, In Qontrol, Pixel, Static, Planet Rose, Vreemd, 5 days off, Issue, M.A.D., Rockit festival and the FFWD Streetparade Rotterdam.
