LINK UP HAUTAMAEKKIE OR SUZZLIC STEREO!!!!I started to become a reggae fanatic in 97 after have seen nearly every ska band around the globe. the music became boring in my opinion. there was nothing new for me after 6 ska years. the first time i get in contact with reall reggae music was with court jesters crew from tübingen. they impressed me with their mixture of ska, reggae, dancehall and rocksteady. now i begun to like more and more original reggae artists from jamaica. first of all artists like buju banton and even beenie man.
one day a friend of mine, balu balleng, took me with him and brought me to freiburg, to blackwood soundsystem. impressed and totally mad i was standing infront of their big big wall of speakers and i felt the bassline killin my musical soul. from that day every other music was done for me. during the years me an blackwood, tm wolfinna sheep + mr. bassie became friends for life, and i see them as musical fathers. they inspired me to become a selecter ! mi first reggae 7.., i bought in bad cannstatt, in marc..s blessed love record shop (john holt police in helicopter)he was it too, who gave mi mi first dubplates, he bring from kingston.give tanx for the nice time in suttgart.
2004 i first visited jamaica a mi own.what a crazy ting!!! i started now to take ..the sound ting..a likkle more serious and i invested all my likkle money in artiste from occhi.
2007 i started the ..RIDE DI RIDDIM..parties inna schraeglge in stuttgart.
that year now 2008 i returned to jamaica to have the most wonderfull time in my life!!! before that trip i only played roots, new roots and older dancehall.but in Ja i there was only movado, demarco, munga, einstein, konshens,vybz, aso...on the radio and on every dance in the maintime. it impressed and inspired me to play now all cathegories of reggae, exccept dub and drum and bass.
