Tommy Villafranca

Tommy V has been a dedicated performance artist since his early childhood beginning with the purchase of a family piano at age seven. His love for music flourished and has since studied several instruments which eventually led him to drumming.As an actor, Tommy's debut television appearance was in 1987 on Drugs: The Challenge hosted by Michael Gross from the hit television series Family Ties. Tommy began studying theatre arts at a local community college in his hometown of Sacramento, CA and began working on stage in various community theatre productions.Tommy graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Cinema. After producing and acting in his own films, he moved to Los Angeles to further his acting and music career.Some of Tommy's film and television credits include Mr. Fix It with David Boreanez , The Family Plan with Tori Spelling and Cut Off starring Malcolm McDowell, Faye Dunaway and Anne Archer.In 2005, Tommy joined with Joe Thalman and the 99's and has since finished the band's debut EP "These Days". Tommy has been spotted in the LA area playing at the famed Hotel Cafe, The Sunset Strip and The Temple Bar.In addition to the 99's, Tommy also works with The Silverlake Conservatory of Music, alt-country singer and songwriter Jody Jones, the lounge sounds of the band Please, and the Brazilian trio Amazonica
