About Me

DubDuP was the brainchild of three friends who back in 2001 decided to group up and DJ together at parties they themselves wanted to promote. Gone were the nights of limited music styles, early sets and short playing times. They wanted innovative nights, with original mixed sets, played to keep the crowd dancing, and so DubDuP was born. After promoting some smaller nights and the guys continuing with their various individual residencies, DubDuP as given a regular monthly night at the Café en Seine in Peterborough, where other nights were promoted by the likes of Nick Slater (The Drummattic Twins & Shades of Rhythm). For well over a year, DubDuP continued their residency at the Café en Seine and also had the opportunity to branch out and play at Club Summit in Wisbech, landing another residency in the club’s second room, teaming up with the well known Slinky organisation who promoted in the main room.DubDuP parties have experimented with live music accompaniments at their nights and often had percussionists or live funky guitarists playing along with their DJs. This again helped DubDuP parties stand out from the rest. With the decreasing number of really good venues in the East Midlands, DubDup has moved to the bright lights of London, they have continued to bring their style of party to the music lovers of London.DubDup have enjoyed collaborations with the likes of The Inland Knights (Drop Music), Jamie Anderson (Artform, NRK), Tony Thomas (Moxi, New Era, Cubic, Soma), Clive Henry (Peace Division), Guy Williams (DTPM), Solo (Myna Music), Digs & Whoosh (DIY), Smokin’ Jo & Lottie, and now in London, they have worked with the likes of DJ C1 and Tom Baker (Wiggle, Wrong), with many more collaborations to come...
