Elmo is a fury red muppet monster with googly eyes and an orange nose. Elmo currently hosts the last segment on Sesame Street called Elmo's World. However you can also watch the show as a seperate TV show on Living TV in the UK. Elmo's world takes place in Elmo's apartment, each day the show starts with Elmo announcing the topic for the day, which is then what the show is based on. Elmo is accompanied by his gold fish Dorothy also the silent Mr Noodle and Mr Noodle's brother Mr Noodle. Elmo has been performing since 1985 by Kevin Clash and the character is supposed to be about three and a half years old. Elmo has also a number of dolls manufactured in his likeness, the most popular being tickle me Elmo. Elmo has also appeared on the Rosie O'Donnell show and has stared in a full length motion picture entitled Elmo in Grouchland!
