My name is Alex, and I've just graduated from Bath Spa University with a BA Honours in Commercial Music.
Commercial Music doesn't immediately shout graphic or web designer at you, but the whole experience is based around creating a product or brand to market and sell. Be it an album or a tour, there needs to be an extensive and consistent marketing strategy in place. This includes a contemporary web presence, flyers, posters and merchandise.

Born and raised in the South West of England, I am currently working for a company called Freemax Media who are based in Wokingham. Design has always been a love of mine, as soon as music came into my life, my passion for design was intensified by the use of it within the music industry. I excelled in all of my design and business modules at university and have decided that it is the path I would like to take.
I am approaching 4 years professional experience. My best skills are designing and composing & eye catching, user friendly websites using a combination of Flash, PHP, HTML and CSS. I am fluent, confident and quick yet effective using Adobe Creative Suite on either Mac OSX or Windows platforms.
Although I am primarily a web designer, I enjoy turning my hand to other areas of design when required. I have completed various print projects including posters, business cards and magazine layouts and graphics.
