I live in LA, but I'm still a Northern Californian at heart. I've been told that I'm a pathological smart ass. When I read the paper,I always go for the comics first, but I eventually make my way to the front page. I've always found Foxtrot funny, I've never liked Family Circus, and Dilbert is starting to hit too close to home. I like to go for drives for no good reason from time to time. So far my favorite road is on Portuguese Bend on the south side of Rancho Palos Verdes. There are lots of curves and a really nice view. I like to go out a couple nights a week with the usual group of friends, and once in a while we'll try to get outside of the southbay bubble. People I meet are usually surprised when I tell them I'm an engineer. I'm not sure if that means that I'm more glib than enginerds are supposed to be, or that I don't look very smart.
