About Me

Forza Italia!

I haven't updated this in a few years, so I figure I will see how much I've changed since then, besides getting chubby HAHA! OK Here goes... As you can tell by my page I am a very proud Italian. Aside from that I am a VERY simple person and it doesn't take much to make me happy. I have a very altruistic approach to life. Putting a smile on someone elses face is so much more rewarding than doing something for myself. I have the best family and friends in the world and theres nothing I wouldn't do for any of them. My family is a large Italian family and I ALWAYS look forward to spending time with them. I have HORRIBLE short term memory, but once I commit something to memory I never forget it. I am sometimes shy (usually around girls) but normally outgoing (especially if I've had a few to drink!) and love to go out and have a good time. I love dancing to any and every kind of music out there. Bottom line though, as long as I'm with friends, it doesn't matter what we're doing, I know that it will be a good time. I am a perfectionist and strive to excel in everything that I do. Most people say I have a great sense of humor, but some have a problem with it because it is steeped in sarcasm. I am not the type of person that will ever say or do anything intentionally to hurt someone, but sometimes I try so hard to get a laugh it ends up at the expense of someone else. People who know me know that 90% of the time you cannot take me seriously. When I'm interested in something I put my heart into it 100% no matter what. That normally gets me hurt, especially with women. By the way I really do have the worst luck with women. I always meet the ones just getting out of a long relationship, or moving away or dying in a month (ok I embellished there but you get the idea). I think more people need to learn manners and common courtesy in general, everyone is so self absorbed these days. I've reached that point in my life where I have everything I could possibly want except a significant other, and thats probably the biggest void to fill because I can be picky. I know I have no right to be picky but I know what I want and I'm willing to wait until I find it.
I work in sales for a software company and last year relocated to California. I travel a lot for work and in six years I have been to some beautiful places; 44 states, 15 countries and counting. My two favorite trips were to Nairobi Kenya and San'a Yemen. They were really life changing. Seeing how people live in third world countries really makes you appreciate just how good you have it and how meaningless all of the material things in our lives are. There is nothing better than being away from the US, especially in a third world country and then flying back to New York, seeing the Statue of Liberty and going to a baseball game when they sing the national anthem. That sends chills down my spine. We really do live in the greatest country in the world. While in Nairobi I had the opportunity to go on a safari on the edge of the Serengeti, which was amazing. Its so sad that these beautiful creatures are having their habitats destroyed. I also got to visit a modern day marvel in Dubai. What they're doing over there in the desert is amazing! Check out my picture albums for pics of my fav trips!!
I am a HUGE Soprano's fan. Best TV drama in history. I am sad that its gone, and miss getting together on Sunday's with my crew to enjoy it. I am one of the few who right from the beginning loved the ending!!
I enjoy sports (watching and playing, you can see i'm a huge Oakland A's fan), fine dining, cooking, traveling, reading, music, dancing, clubs and anything else that gets me out of the house on the weekends. I'm a HUGE fan of ultimate fighting. The Ice Man is my boy. Here is a picture of the love of my life. ;)

The walls we build around us to keep out sadness also keep out joy.

Society has been socially programmed to view men crying as a sign of weakness. It is often treated as an act that symbolizes an inherent lack of self-control.  In contrast, I've always believed m...
