He's a young man from the BOOGIE DOWN BRONX who began his "rap tale" at the tender age of twelve. Luis Toro was a youngster obsessed with Hip hop, from the lyrics to the beats. These days Luis, known as Spyru Da Truth, focuses on making hits out of his own Hip hop tunes, in hopes to make it in the ranks of the Hip hop industry with legends such as Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur. The name "Spyru" springs from the word "Spiral" which the artist says describes himself as an individual. "I'm like a spiral. The life I've lived and the things I've been through has created a twisted state of being which is me". His moto, "the time is now", displays his desire to achieve! It's no wonder Spyru's the President of APro2. Spyru is currently in the process of completing "Cyncer: Spyru & A.D." which is a cooperative project with A.D. (CEO of APro2). "I Spy", Spyru's solo debut is scheduled for release in the year 2009.
