Michael A. Flores aka Poetic Dvice

Peace my brothers and sisters. My name is Michael Flores, better known as, Poetic_Dvice. I attribute my gifts and creativity to the one and only Lord above, for without Him, I wouldn't even have existed in this world. I first started writing at the age of eight for the church and began performing around 9 or 10. It wasn't until my 2nd year at Dr. Charles. E. Brimm Medical Arts High School that I realized I have been blessed with the creative eye to see beyond the obvious and dig deeper into a society, culture, background, and art that has been present for years. My writing began to take a shift from religion to politics and from politics to historical and societal issues; primarily focusing on my generation and the decline in interest for an education. I have performed at various Open Mic's and venues in the tri state area and am only continuing to grow as I draw near a close on my first CD entitled, "FrAgMeNtEd ThOuGhTs".
