שׂרף ELOHIM אלהים

Born from the flames of revolution, Nelson Ivan Iraheta, better known as Elohim has only begun to make his mark in the spirit of liberation. As a child, he and his family traveled vast distances from there native country of El Salvador to the United States, fleeing the macabre of the civil war torn lands. Relocating to the dark and rainy city of Seattle, Elo had to adapt into a whole different way of life, something that was extraneously difficult for the young child.It became evident at an early age that Elo was gifted with the ability of word craft, and at age 13 began his first Rap group called Divine Grace with cousin Don Pedro and Dantes Inferno. Delivering hard core rhymes mixed with socially conscious and revolutionary themes, Elo was well received with his peers and community.Then several years later at age 17, he joined forces with his brother El Guanaco, Nomad Eel Sirrah, Khazm and DJ's HNS & WD4D to form Cyphalliance. Cyphalliance was the musical offspring of a prominent Hip Hop group called Mad Krew, which had made waves in the underground circuit nationally. Although considered the youngest of the group, Elohim carried the skills to match the rest. The 2003 release of there debut album entitled "Industreets" sparked an astounding city-wide buzz as they toured the Pacific Northwest region with well over 50 shows that season, performing alongside the likes of Abstract Rude, Aceyalone, Emanon, Mr Brady, TC Izlam, OneBeLo, 2Mex, Blue Scholars, Abyssinian Creole, and others.Shortly afterward he and the group would pay homage to the birthplace of Hip Hop- New York City. This is when he and his companions were inducted into the Universal Zulu Nation, the founding family of Hip Hop and worldwide organization to preserve and elevate Hip Hop. Upon returning to Seattle, Khazm who later became known as King Khazm established a Seattle Chapter of the Universal Zulu Nation called 206 Zulu; and Elohim began to serve as an original Shaka Serurity member.Although Elo continued to write, he took a sabbatical from the stage and began to train in the gym, where he pursued his aspirations as a boxer. This is where he picked up his new alias' El Guapo and pretty kid. It wasn't until the untimely death of his cousin and rhyme partner(don pedro) that Elo would gain a resurgence of energy and a rekindled hunger for controlling the microphone. Keep your ears and eyes open as Elohim prepares for his long awaited solo album which will be making its way to the shelves very soon.
